Join us for our annual joint lecture with the Manchester Centre for Anglo-Saxon Studies. This year, we're pleased to welcome historian and presenter Michael Wood, Professor of Public History at University of Manchester, who will be speaking on a timely topic. His talk is about 'The Lady of the Mercians: Æthelflæd (d. 918), Daughter of Alfred the Great,' as one of the first events this year on the millennial anniversary of her death.
